Due to some more registrations to this web site, I have decided to describe it more detailed so that everybody understands the idea, the background and the usage of these pages.
You can picture this web site as something like a public accessible notebook. Each page is linked to a keyword and you can reach and find the page back by using this keyword. How do I (Nils Belde) use belde.de? If I find some interesting information (on the internet or elsewhere) I note this information on a page with a reasonable linked keyword to this information. That's it. Finding back this information is easy as long as I remember the linked keyword. I can use it at home, at work or somewhere else - I only need the internet access.
Belde.de is characterized by simplicity:
1. simple structure - simple plain pages are linked to a keyword.
2. simple accessible - via the Internet
3. simple collaboration - everybody can see it, every user who is logged in can modify it
4. simple link of articles - mark the text to be linked and press the button "Link", that's it!
How to use belde.de?

Search The search is pretty simple. Type in a keyword and press the button. If you don't find any result you can use the special character "%". Charles% searches for all existing Keywords that start with Charles. "%Charles%" searches for all Keyword that contain "Charles". If you don't find anything you can use the built in links to google, MS Encarta, etc.
Register Registration is necessary if you want to participate active at belde.de. Reading and browsing through all the information is free without registration. If you want to create new keywords or if you want to change or extend existing ones you have to be registered.
Log In To create new keywords and to modify existing ones you have to be logged in. Click on the link "login" and fill in your username and your password. If you don't have a username you have to register. See registration for further infos.
